Android won't kill the iPhone

A Sky News article has quoted an SMH article quoting Netgear's global CEO, Patrick Lo, who went so low as to take jabs at the lain-low Steve Jobs, while seemingly predicting doom for the iPhone at the hands of the Android.

Stop the presses! Extra, extra, read all about it! Read what? Read that roving eyewitness who may or may not be with Reuters, perhaps other than being in the same room as a Reuters journalist, saw an actual iPad 2 - but unicorns and fluffy puppies weren't also in attendance.

The iPad 2 is still months away, but the digerati has made clear what it expects the iPad 2 to contain, and even though some of these features seem contradictory, the web has spoken when it comes to what it wants in the iPad 2, with Steve Jobs the 'decider' over whether those wishes are granted, or gutted!

The iOS 4.3 no show for 2010 - does it matter?

Although iOS 4.3 was rumoured by many to be arriving in December, complete with some kind of new newspaper subscription facility, the rapidly approaching end of December likely means no iOS 4.3 until 2011 - if we don't skip straight to iOS 5.0 instead.

Misdirection. It's a great tactic when the world is expecting you to zig, and instead you zag, remaining unpredictable and keeping juicy 'one more thing' secrets under your turtleneck until it's time to pop them out at the last minute, which could happen if iOS 4.2 isn't released tomorrow!

iOS 4.2 still not ready, when's iOS 5.0 due?

First up it's faulty Wi-Fi in the iOS 4.2 gold master, then there's word the Verizon iPhone 4 is what could be holding iOS 4.2 back, then comes news the second gold master has fixed the Wi-Fi problem which might mean iOS 4.2 arriving sooner rather than later, but with every passing day users must simply wait out the delay.

Apple's iOS 4.2 might be launching tomorrow or not until late November, but there's a suggestion that iPad users might still be getting an update as 4.2 will be the 'first' iOS 4 the iPad has access to and it will probably need an update!
